Valerie began her dental career 12 years ago as a registered dental assistant in Austin, Texas where she was born and raised. Her current role is that of our front office manager. She enjoys helping and interacting with patients. Our patients and staff enjoy her bubbly and positive personality. Valerie loves to travel, dine out and go to Disneyland any chance she gets.
Genie attended Dental Hygiene school at USC. She was here to open this office in 1971 with Dr. Jay Brent and she has seen generations of patients pass through our office. In 2000, Dr Brent sold the practice to August de Oliveira and Genie was fortunate to stay on with the practice and the patients.
In addition to hygiene, Genie is passionate about the arts. She is the Executive Director of the Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble, an Israeli touring company since 1983. She is also the Executive Director at TEEV Events which tours Israeli artists and produces events around the world. Her latest venture is co-producing projects though her new company, Arts for Change which includes a play called SURVIVORS and a concert called Project HEROES.
